Wow, can’t believe I haven’t posted a blog entry since Lily was born.  She came right on her due date, January 15th.  It’s all been a complete whirlwind since.  Becoming a parent is like nothing else – suddenly I’ve found energy I never knew I had.  I’ve gotten really good at doing everything one handed because I’m always holding a baby in the other.  I look forward to getting out of the house and having time to myself but usually within an hour or two I end up missing my wife and baby and just want to be back at home with them.

Shannon, my wife, has been nothing short of amazing throughout all of this.  She gave birth 100% naturally and was a total trooper about it — HUGE thanks to Hypnobabies for helping in that department.  I think she surprised all the nurses and doctors because she was so calm and labored so easily.  She’s now a stay at home mom, full time, and loving it!  I think we were both a bit surprised about that in a good way.  I’m totally jealous she gets to be at home with baby all day.

Weddings are booking up fast right now so don’t delay if you’re interested in booking me to shoot yours.  I’ve only got a few remaining Saturdays for June/July/August left.
