Allison & Andy got married in Athens on the UGA campus.  The ceremony was at the famous chapel on North Campus right near downtown.  The campus is great for photos, beautiful, different locations, cool textures, etc . . . After the ceremony, Allison & Andy rode in style to the venue.  The reception was a blast – at one point it felt like every guest there was on the dance floor getting down!

Kelly & Erik wanted to do their engagement photos in the city.  We chose Piedmont Park to start because it’s got so many perfect spots.  After that, it got dark so we headed into the city and decided to shoot right on the street — these two were a blast and totally up for anything.  Can’t wait for their wedding next month – just right around the corner!

Michelle & John both live in France, so before the wedding they didn’t have time to do an engagement session and instead opted for a day after session.  It was a total blast . . . we kept it local to the Peachtree City area and started at Starr’s Mill.  Pretty scenic place, sort of the go to spot for senior pictures and family portraits in this area.  Interesting side note – part of the movie Sweet Home Alabama was filmed here – I think it was the glass shop scenes.  It got dark pretty quickly so we just headed south down the highway until we found a few spots that looked good.  These two were so comfortable in front of the camera, they totally rocked this session and I got some awesome shots.

Michelle & John actually got married at the same venue as Shannon and I – Glendalough Manor.  These two were such an awesome couple; totally up for anything and had an amazing wedding.  Michelle & John both live in France and had guests from all over the world in their wedding.  One of the coolest things at the wedding was an Eiffel Tower drink dispensing ice sculpture at the reception . . . seriously uhhhhhmazing.  Got some really fantastic shots at the wedding, and to top it off, we scheduled a day after photo session where we did more portraits on location of them.  Keep checking the blog for the day after session — some of my favorite photos I’ve shot to date.  Oh, and make sure you get all the way to the bottom – the last photo of the day was one of my favorites from the whole wedding.

Jenny & Ray got married at le Jardin Blanc in Douglasville.  This venue was gorgeous . . . it’s basically an old Southern style estate with gardens, plenty of outdoor space for photos, tents, etc, and an amazing courtyard that has some great light.  The ceremony was outdoors on the lawn and the reception followed in the courtyard.  The house is busy with nick knacks everywhere . . . it doubles as a gift shop and wedding venue.  There is stuff to look at everywhere you turn.  Jenny was stunning in her dress and Ray kept cool in a khaki tux.  I had a hard time blogging this wedding because there were just sooo many photos I loved – here’s just a few.  Oh, also look for my fav ring shot to date too.

Shalinda & Gary got married at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead.  The Ritz was everything it was supposed to be and nothing short of amazing.  I knew I would get some awesome images of these two at their wedding because they’re so relaxed in front of the camera.  Check out their hot e-session here.  The ceremony and reception were both great.  Got to shoot some portraits with the skyline in the background at dusk outside the venue which was really cool.  Thanks again Gary & Shalinda!
